Why wont some girls shave?

A girl im friends with that is pretty decent looking has very hairy arms like hairier then me and im harrier then alot of the other guys! Why wouldnt she do something about this? Alot of guys make fun of her behind her back because of this, i want to tell her but i dont want to hurt a feelings.. why is she doing this to herself? what should i do?
