Why is my computer frozen only from Nero 8?!?

all I did was just go to Nero Vision [8] cuz i was editing a video and I clicked split and then it just froze and it's been freezing for an hour. I tried shutting down the computer, restarting it, ctr alt delete, going to a different program; EVERYTHING.
