How to tell my family?

I am 22 and 7 months pregnant with my first son. My boyfriend and I have been together for two years as well and we live together too. My parents are a very religious family and I thought they would kill me if I told them I was pregnant. I decided to try to not act ashamed or tell them in a way that looks like I'd expect them to be disappointed in me. I showed up at my moms house by surprise with an "its a girl" and "its a boy" balloon and my mom answered the door confused. She said, "what? is your cat pregnant?" Haha... No joke. When I told her it was me, she wasn't mad at me and is now a very excited grandma to be. Congrats if you turn out to be pregnant!!
