How do you make a beach themed bedroom?

I want to make my bedroom a Florida beach themed bedroom but I don't want to OD on tacky beach stuff. I mean I don't want people to walk in and cringe from all the beach stuff. I want it to be simple, but some arts and craft beach memorabilia is good. I can't spend too much money so please offer stuff that isn't too expensive, but I can paint my room so any offers are good ( I like teal, turquoises, greenish-blues, so if I can work that in that would be great) . Sorry if I'm being too pushy or demanding.
