Babies are not aggressive they are MORE defensive. Aggressive would mean that the snake goes around looking for trouble, they don't do that. The little snake worries about being eaten by many things that are food for the larger snake. I have a pet bull snake. It is not as calm as my corns, kings, or milks but it allows me to handle it most of the time. It is better to buy a captive bred snake, they are not very expensive. They can get from about 4 to 7 feet long.
