Does it damage an 383 stroker to let it rev to 6-8rpm for a second or 2?

My gas pedal gets stuck on a hose that goes into the power steering. I move the hose out of the way but it eventually migrates back down and the gas lever hangs up on it. I immediately smash the clutch to the floor and kill it when this happens but usually not before it gets up to 6-8rpms (mostly depending on if I was having some fun at that moment or not). VROOOM!! Its an intimidating rev but will this damage it even though it happens for just a second? I never take it over 3 when driving, even on the freeway, and 4 if im having some fun (rarely). Its got a lot of high performance parts.
